Prue and Tabuns said they would officially make their intentions known in July.

Both MPPs have a long history of community involvement both in the political and social spheres.

Tabuns also served as a Toronto councillor for the Riverdale area from 1990 to 1997. He was the executive director of Greenpeace from 1999 to 2004 and is a past-president of Citizens for a Safe Environment.
